This walk-through lecture was given at Pete and Susan Barrett Art Gallery in Santa Monica, California on October 9, 2007. The exhibition was entitled Of Sound and Silence and represented a survey of 14 years of paintings and drawings.

It included monochromatic collages, monoprints, acrylics, oil paintings, mixed media scrolls and watercolors. The focus was the fine line between chaos and control, the interplay between symmetry and asymmetry and the translation of the music of Shostakovich and Brockman to form and color.
